Our facilities
Centenary's campus consists of three connected buildings:
- The Sanctuary
- The Education Wing
- The Family Life Center
Sanctuary The main entrance to the Sanctuary is from Ellis Street; steps also lead to the worship area from Bellevue.
Our century-old sanctuary features classic stained glass windows, a balcony and a pipe organ, and seats 450 people. The building is air conditioned and has an updated sound system. Our sanctuary was built in 1906 and remodeled in 1975.
In addition to the worship area, this building houses church offices in the lower level. The office area may be reached by stairs from the Narthex or from Ellis Street at street level.
The first floor of this structure houses many of the educational facilities of Centenary Church. These facilities include:
- Kimbel Chapel
- Children’s center
- Limbaugh church parlor
- Music rooms
- Library
- Nurseries
- Activity/craft room.
- Resource room
- Stage
- Sunday School classrooms for all children and youth age.

Family Life Center The Family Life Center features a large, modern multipurpose gym.
This space functions as the setting for The Summit, our contemporary worship service on Sunday mornings.
But it also serves as a space for programs, presentations and dinners.
In addition, the gym is used by our church for recreation, after-school programs, Vacation Bible School, Breakfast in Bethlehem, Attic Treasures and a huge variety of other events.
The first floor of the FLC also features an attractive lobby meeting area, appropriate for meetings and smaller dinners and a nursery.

A commercial kitchen allows us to serve refreshments and meals to large gatherings, and provides a resource for our casserole ministry.
The second floor has a jogging/walking track, adult Sunday School classrooms, a youth activity room and meeting rooms.
For information about our Family Life Center, please contact the church office at 573-334-2869 or office@centenaryumc.net.
Other facilities and services The Handicap Entrance and parking are located under the portico between the Family Life Center and the Education Wing. An elevator is located in the Family Life Center.
The Library, which houses a multi-media computer system, is located on the first floor of the Education Wing. Check out and return are based on the honor system.
Audio and Video Cassette Recordings of the Sunday morning services and selected Bible studies are available through the church office. Homebound members may contact the church office for a free copy; however, there is a $1.50/tape charge for other members. Money should be marked for tapes and left with the order.
